The Message

Having given space from the drama around me, today i managed to rethink certain aspects of life.I was not feeling well but that didn't stop my mind from venturing into higher thoughts.It is usual during this frame of time, i feel as though god whispers his hidden messages of life into my ears.Today's message is a message that i want to share with you and hope it will be beneficial........

We often take life as being unfair especially if a particular matter doesn't fall our way. I must agree that i always thought life was very unfair towards me in many ways.This feeling had deeply sadden me at times.I always had blamed god as being blind not to see to my wants. Well, i guess i never thought it this way.... for one to be happy another's happiness has to be sacrificed, you can choose to be the one that receives the happiness or the one that sacrifices his happiness for others to be happy.

Soon after receiving this inspirational thought, my stomach started showing tantrums. I quickly got into the car and drove to a restaurant nearby to have my breakfast . The thing that most people like in this restaurant is it's "nasi lemak". However, for some odd reasons the restaurant only produces very limited nasi lemak per day. When i entered the restaurant there was only one packet of nasi lemak left on the table. I quickly grabbed the last packet as i was so hungry and wanted so much to eat nasi lemak.I decided to wait for my drink before i ate.

As i was waiting for my drink, a little boy and his mother enters the restaurant. They sat opposite my table. When the mother asked the boy, what does he want to eat, he happily said "nasi lemak". However, the waiter next to him said that there is no more "nasi lemak" for today. At that very instant the smile on his face was lost. I felt really bad as it would had been his happiness that i had stolen by wanting the last packet of nasi lemak. I didn't know what to do then but i knew that i couldn't eat knowing that it is someone else's happiness too. I return the packet to the waiter and requested the waiter to pass it to that boy.

Well I know many may say that the situation compared above is small to make such a big statement. Do you know that the above situation do often happen in love too. A typical situation is like when a couple is so in love and suddenly a third person comes in between them.At that very moment, either one of the partner's dreams or happiness would be shattered.Well in life, don't be so selfish always thinking only for your own needs. I feel that it is better sacrificing happiness or love for another person to be happy especially when one knows that their action would cause unhappiness.

Don't seek happiness by wracking someone else's life, love or putting sand on other peoples rice bowl, as happiness coming from those actions never do last.Remember this, your unhappiness is temporary so is this temporary life of yours......learn from it as much, as you might never get a second chance to live it again.
