Ever wonder what our greatest fear is ?? Well believe it or not i figured out the answer to this question during a 3 week daily conversation with a girl i met on the bus. Many would not agree with me but in my opinion men fears most from LONELINESS .
Lets track back, a kid gets attached to his parents or siblings because he is lonely , a teen tries to find a girl friend because he is lonely, a adult marries because he is lonely, he then have kids to ensure he doesn't get lonely when old, and now all those who are thinking this is crap is going against this truth cause they don't want to feel loneliness is the cause of man's search.
One thing is for sure WE COME ALONE AND WILL LEAVE ALONE .....think about it

i have to agree with u on that...and the fear translates to women too....to everybody basically, they just dont want to end up alone. i guess this can be traced back to the darwinian days, animals always grouped and moved together as a flock...being alone was seen as a sign of insecurity and weakness and vulnerability (i.e. target as a prey)...scary, innit?

its true that loneliness is one thing that a man fears.. but the true fear of a man is to loose what he *thinks* he has..
but the great fact is we did not bring anything when we came to this world .. and we are not going to bring anything with us when we are to leave.. so, why fear of loosing sumthing which we never own..
the fear will ultimately dissapear if we know that what he have today not is not what we own.. but its merely what we rent from time .. =)

it's true that all of us fear of being lonely. But to think of it, one can overcome their loneliness by keeping busy and having friends. Having a partner is not the only solution and sometime one can also feels lonely despite already having a partner. I think we human just can't escape from being lonely but it is how we cope with it that counts.

I have to agree on your thoughts about it ahilan, but sometimes loneliness and not being bothered all the time is what a man wants. He wants to be free from commitments and people who depend on him. This especially goes to man with a lot of cash in thier pockets. The onces that are branded "players", they just need a group of friends with the same interest. Then again, it all instead of a partner it's his friends who fill the void of loneliness
